Omega Communications Services, Inc., previously known as DCI FiberCore, is a network integration company that designs, installs and maintains premise networks for voice, video and data applications.
(In 2003, Mr. DiMauro purchased the assets of FiberCore Systems, Inc. and re-established the new company as Omega Communications Services, Inc.)

DCI FIBERCORE 2001-2003 Charlton, MA
Executive Vice President in charge of New Business Development
FiberCore, Inc. a publicly traded company, purchased DCI in June 2001, and DCI became Fiber Core Systems, Inc.
Projects included development of an RFP for CTBC, Uberlandia, Brazil, third largest telephone company in the country; The Royal Palm Project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, designing a voice, video and data communications infrastructure in a man made island community; building of the infrastructure for the new FiberCore fiber manufacturing facility in Jenna, Germany, as well as a new fiber facility in Campinas, Brazil. Served as consultant to the Afghanistan Minister of Telecommunications and interim Prime Minister, Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan to rebuild the country's communications infrastructure, including the design and development of a wireless local loop and fiber optic telecommunications infrastructure.

Mr. DiMauro was the founder of Data Communications, Inc, a company specializing in voice, video and data applications in the communications market. DCI provided installation, termination, testing and commissioning services for a series of ITS systems in the United States. These systems provided computerized roadway signs and video communication for highway traffic control in various cities, including Washington, D.C., Cincinnati, OH, Lexington, KY, San Antonio, TX and Pittsburgh, PA.

Vice President in charge of System Integration
Expanded sales from ground zero to $5M in two years. Responsibility for sales and engineering. Managed 30 person field service and sales groups.

Manager, Fiber Optic Cable Manufacturing and Installation Division Worked with Fibronics GmbH in their satellite facilities in Carmiel and Uvalim, Israel, designing sensor arrays for the Israeli military.

AMFOX 1983-1985 Signal Hill, CA
Director of Marketing and Sales
Formulated and implemented five year marketing plan defining company direction and sales growth. Duties included establishment of both domestic and international rep organizations, covering all facets of data communications. Managed inside sales personnel, advertising, trade shows and company promotional projects. Coordinated manufacturing on all new product development. Report channel: Directly to the president.

Advanced Engineering & Research Manager
Administrator of corporate research in testing and quality for materials and electronic devices. Created a fiber optic cable division and pilot plant with extrusion and cabling equipment, as well as tests and measurements. The group consisted of an R&D manager, design engineers and technicians.
Additional responsibilities included a long range marketing plan and training of all sales personnel. Project ranged from the initial development of program to $1Million in sales within the first year. Projects included FOSS, ARIADNE, Two Array for Sonar Equipment and Down –Hole logging.
High level US Government security clearance in connection with the FOSS program.

BIW CABLE AND SYSTEMS 1980–1981 Boston, MA
Manager, Fiber Optic Engineering
Created a fiber optic cable division. Responsibilities included purchasing test and manufacturing equipment, training personnel and daily supervision of five engineers and seven technicians.
Developed marketing and sales programs for reps and in house personnel. Administrative and technical responsibility for all special projects and programs with control of $500,000 annual budget.

Engineering Program Manager
Administrative and technical responsibility for special projects and programs in fiber optics and wire/cable fields. Specific programs included the Ground Launch Control system for Cruise Missile, the development, manufacturing and installation of the fiber optic system used by ABC-TV at the 13th Winter Olympics, and an installation of a high temp fiber draw tower. Position also included bids and proposal responsibilities, in addition to cable development and prototyping, coordination of engineering with sales division and supervision of engineers and techs.

Designed various types of electrical wire and cable
Technical consultant/advisor to customers and sales personnel in transforming customer requirements into an electrical cable design that would meet customer performance specifications. Responsible for updating company standards and advertising collateral; prepared and conducted training seminars for sales personnel. Performed field engineering to investigate and recommend resolution to customer problems, issues and complaints. Involved in quality control, electrical testing and cable fault isolation.
